Export shipments
outside Singapore are only effected for wholesale shipments
on an ex-warehouse basis.
The buyer is responsible at all times for the payment of the
FOB charges, the freight, applicable tax and duties at
destination and for compliance with the applicable laws and
regulations in the country of import, regarding the consumption
of alcohol and liquors. Café Calva cannot ship to PO boxes.
Most orders are packed and shipped within 2-3
business days. Actual transit time directly depends on the selected
carrier and mode of transport. Approximate transit time may
be provided by Café Calva as an indication at the time
of order, but remains exclusively the responsibility of the
carrier. Café Calva does not ship on major holidays and
weekends.
Cafe Calva is committed to complete satisfaction
of its customers. We want to hear about any problem you might
have experienced in conjunction with your order. Should any
product be damaged during shipping, remember to consign in
writing
the mention "Delivered with damages" on all copies
of the delivery sheet issued to you by the delivery
carrier. Please e-mail our
Customer Service (wecare@cafe-calva.com) to report any issue
within
a maximum of three (3) business days as from the date of delivery
and fax a copy of the delivery sheet at +65 6252 4339 so that
we can follow-up your claim.
As a tradition in the wine and liquor trade,
all vintage bottles 10 years or older are purchased at the
buyer's
risk. Except damages that may have occurred during shipment,
Café Calva practices a NO RETURNS policy. However,
if you receive a wine or a liquor that is off condition,
please contact our
Customer Service by e-mail as we may consider a refund
or a replacement on courtesy grounds, without being
legally
bound to so.
Occasionally there may be information on the cafe calva site that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies that
may relate to product descriptions, pricing, and availability.
In addition, images of products displayed on this site may not be to scale. We reserve the right to correct any inaccuracies, or omissions
and to change or update information at any time without prior
notice (including after you have submitted your order). We apologize
for any inconvenience this may cause you. Café Calva
reserves the right to refuse or cancel any orders containing
an error, inaccuracy or omission, whether or not the order has
been submitted, confirmed and / or your credit card has been
charged. If your credit card has been charged for your purchase
and your order is canceled, Café Calva shall promptly
issue a credit to your credit card. If you are not completely
satisfied with your Café Calva purchase, please contact
our Customer Service .
AN ADULT SIGNATURE IS REQUIRED
FOR ALL DELIVERIES.
If no one is available to receive the package,
a subsequent attempt to deliver will be made. If possible,
we
encourage you to use an address where an adult will be present
to take delivery. If subsequent attempts are unsuccessful,
your
order
will be
returned to our warehouse.
Café Calva recognizes and complies
with all federal, state and local laws regarding sale of alcohol.
It is implied throughout this web site that
no purchase may be made by anyone under the age of 18,
or under the minimum age legally required to make such purchases
in
the
country of consumption. All shipments
require an adult signature; proof of age is deemed to be
verified
by the delivery carrier.
In some countries such as the United States,
specific state policies apply. Some states may have a limit
on the number of bottles allowed per order. In addition, due
to the restrictions of shipping alcohol to certain zip codes,
the states of Florida and Texas require you to precisely indicate
the zip code for the shipping destination. We are committed
to 100% compliance with the federal and state regulations of
all markets we serve, and we are unable to ship to districts
that prohibit the sale of alcohol.
When you checkout and click the "confirm order" button, there is no immediate online debit to your credit card or your account. Instead, a purchase order is simply issued as a confirmation, with payment instructions. For security reasons, the payment process is either initiated by you via internet banking to our account or by us vith a Paypal money request e-mailed to your address. Payment mode accepted regardless of the total amount payable is money transfer via internet banking or payment by bank cheque. Payment via Paypal money request is also offered to settle a payable amount not exceeding the equivalent of USD500. Paypal allows safe payments with any credit card such as VISA or AMEX without your having to share your credit card details with us.
